The Story So Far

Once upon a time there was a lovely little girl. She grew up and married a lovely man, had two lovely children and lived in a lovely house. She wanted for nothing and everywhere she looked she found life was a simile. Life was perfect...until that day...the day she met Mr. Green. He saw qualities in her that she had forgotten. He saw strength, ambition, desire and endurance. He encouraged these attributes and his admiration for these things drew her from the illusions of her perfect world and welcomed her back to the land of choices and consequence.
The challenges in the years that followed transformed this little girl into a stronger woman. One who could love, laugh, grieve, create, protect and discern and continue to choose to actively participate in life and all the surprises within, calling on the energy of the lioness.
Life was still perfect-too perfect- so this woman decided to share these learned gifts. she decided to create the opportunity for all people to find their strengths, to find themselves again, to find the parts that lay dormant within and awaken them, to find each other, to resurrect community, she created... "The Green Lion".The centre for all people to have the opportunity to develop and grow...to feel and heal...to care and share... to find and complete... and to remember that for things to change...We first must change.Leonie Stalenhoef

What Is Green Lion
 

 
The Green Lion is a community based enterprise with both on site and mobile services available all with the intention of offering the greater community the opportunity to develop a more fulfilling authentic life
 
Who Are We
We are a group of people with a variety of skills, talents and gifts all with the desire to bring about change. We are passionate about community interaction and mutual support. We want to develop an environment where each and every one of us feels complete. We therefore have designed a program of services which will allow for a personal development of ourselves as we aim to create a society that cares for its community.
 
How We Will Do This
The green Lion has a centre at Findon where all are welcome to visit, have a cup of tea, read something from our onsite library, talk to one of our members or participate in one of our many programs. At the centre there will be further information on both the services we offer and the persons providing these services.  Visiting the centre is free, so please drop by.
